Trail Conditions and Updates: News

Final update for the season 03/25/2022

Happy early Spring on this damp snowy/rainy Friday.

This coming Sunday evening we will officially close the last few trails we currently have open. The possibility of meaningful accumulating snow didn't happen and temperatures were above freezing quite a bit of the week.

We thank all the landowners who provide us opportunities to have snowmobile trails.

This was an interesting winter in a number of ways. We hope next winter our frequent plague of mechanical breakdowns we had this winter are behind us and we can keep to our grooming plan. And maybe a more traditional NEK winter.

We also thank all of you who joined our club for 2022. We really appreciate the support. And the business owners who support us. Donations are also welcome any time of the year.. Unfortunately during the off season we have quite a few groomer and drag repairs still to do so any donations are certainly welcome.

Stay tuned for announcements over the summer and fall for events and we have a few trail related projects that we could use additional help with (and maybe some trail side dogs and burgers)

Update 01/30/2022

Morning Update:

It wasn't a big storm for us but we did get a few inches of needed snow.

Both groomers will be out today and the next couple of days getting the new snow packed.

One of our Groomers has a non functional Vast GPS since 1/20 so our trailsystem isn't showing correctly what is groomed. Hopefully we'll get the replacement soon.

Evening Update:

What a great mid winter Sunday. Those riding today had a bluebird skies, cool temperatures, a bit of fresh snow and fairly light sled traffic. And , if you timed it right, some freshly groomed trails.

Maybe a bit more snow toward end of the week. We shall see.
